AI Receptionist for UK Tattoo Studios

Nobody puts the machine down to answer the phone, so enquiries go to voicemail and the deposit goes to another studio. Phena answers 24/7, gets the design, size and placement an artist needs to quote, and checks age before anything is booked.

Everything you need to know

No. Age is a required question and the UK template states the position plainly: 18 with photo ID, it is a criminal offence under the Tattooing of Minors Act, and parental consent makes no difference. An under-18 caller is told before they turn up, not at the door.

It quotes your minimum charge, your per-piece range and your session rates, and then does what your artists do, sends anything real to a consultation. It will not invent an hourly figure for a sleeve it has never seen, because a quote given on the phone is a quote you have to honour.

The design idea in a sentence, rough size, placement on the body, whether it is covering existing work, and any artist preference. That is enough for an artist to know how long to block out and whether it needs a consultation first, which is the part that usually takes three messages back and forth.

It explains the deposit, that it is non-refundable, that it comes off the price on the day, and that one move with 48 hours' notice carries it over. Taking payment is handled through your own booking link, sent by SMS on the call, so the money lands where it already does.

That is when they get asked. Wrap timings, washing, balm, no swimming, saunas, gyms or sun for two weeks, and do not pick the flaking. It reads back your instructions rather than something generic off the internet, and tells anyone describing an infection to see a pharmacist or GP.

It knows the list and gives it without making it personal: no under-18s, nobody who has been drinking, not over broken or sunburnt skin, not during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and a GP note where someone is on blood thinners or being treated for a skin condition at the site.
