Why we built Phena

UK small businesses miss 25–60% of their inbound calls, depending on the industry. 60–80% of those callers hang up rather than leave a voicemail. The fix used to be hiring a receptionist (£14k–£20k/year, 25 hours of cover) or a human answering service (£150–£500/month plus per-call fees). Both are over-priced for the routine calls that fill most days, and neither can book a job into your diary in real time.
